This limited series is based on a memoir and gives a rare look inside the Hasidic Jewish community in Williamsburg and a young women’s journey on trying to leave. 

The story is captivating and with only 4 episodes it left me wanting more.  Note that a lot of the dialogue is in Yiddish so there are quite a few subtitles, which doesn’t bother me but definitely a series you’ll need to pay close attention to.
