‘The Nightingale’ Review
The Nightingale
Kristin Hannah
From the author of Firefly Lane, The Nightingale is a tale of two sisters in war-torn France who have completely different, but equally brave, journeys.
It’s a story about war, heroism, strength, and above all else, love.
I’m not sure what took me so long, but there is a reason this book got chosen as the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Historical Fiction in 2015. And it’s being made into a movie with the Fanning sisters playing the sisters in the book, so I cannot stress this enough…if you like historical fiction, read this!!! Read this but make sure to have some tissues nearby.
In Paris, with a glass of wine in your hand, you can just be.
The Nightingale
It’s true, and it’s one of my absolute favorite things to do in all of the world.
