‘Dash & Lily’ Review
Dash & Lily
Netflix
‘Dash & Lily’ is a new genre we didn’t know we needed, holiday rom-com series. And I am here for it!
Dash & Lily (the names of the two main characters) meet via a notebook, start a conversation and continue to build a relationship before ever meeting each other. It’s a cross between You’ve Got Mail and Serendipity. The best part of the series is that it takes you on a full-blown Christmas tour of New York, which simultaneously makes me happy but also sad because I miss it (Two Boots has a starring role, I was always partial to the Cleopatra Jones).
What I didn’t realize going into it is that Dash & Lily are high schoolers, and why would I? Similar to Gossip Girl, these high schoolers are played by actors in their 20’s and are far cooler than any high schooler I ever knew.
I am: Entertained
