Ratched is based on a character from the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (I guess since the movie is based on a book it’s technically a character from the book, but I’ve only seen the movie so I consider it that).  The movie is set in a psychological hospital and revolves around the patients and staff who work there.  I would say the same about the series Ratched.

Co-created and developed by Ryan Murphy, it has his typical vibe.  Think American Horror Story, but a lighter version (if you can say that about a psychological thriller).  He has put out non-stop content since Covid started – The Politician Season 2, Hollywood, and now this.  Does this man ever rest?!?

Not sure if there will be a season 2, but I’d like to see one.
