‘Rebecca’ Movie on Netflix Review

If you take ‘‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ and throw in Downton Abbey, you get Rebecca.  Rebecca is a thriller set in the early 20th century (?) between Monte Carlo and the English Countryside.

There are some pleasantly surprising twists, but the real star of the show is the beautiful scenery of Europe.  It’s like taking a step back in time.  The resort set in Monte Carlo reminds me of The Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island, the opulence and grandeur.  It just takes you back…to a time that once upon was.
