OK I’m also partial to historical fictions so this was right up my alley.  This is a period piece, set in the 18th century with the rising of Catherine the Great, but the dialogue is modern day.  It is so good and so smart!  Honestly I will be surprised if this doesn’t get nominated during award season.  Huzzah!
