The Top Entertaining Female Podcasts
I go through podcasts phases where sometimes I listen to true crime (wasn’t Serial everyone’s gateway drug) or self-help or wellness, but for the past while I’ve just loved to listen to fun podcasts that feel like I’m hanging out with my friends. Here are the top entertaining female podcasts (*hosted by females but for everyone!).

Bitch Sesh
Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider are laugh out loud (literally) funny in their podcast where, for the most part, they commentate on The Real Housewives franchises. Sometimes they start off the episode talking about some sort of other current things they are watching or just an anecdote about what’s happening in their life. They are real-life comedienne’s and they are hysterical. They have the best, most funny, entertaining guests too.
Bad on Paper Podcast
One of my favorite bloggers, Grace Atwood from The Stripe, paired up with her friend to deliver a weekly book podcast. The book club is once a month and then the other weeks they have a guest or when they don’t have a guest they will kind of discuss a topic amongst themselves. Every episode they review favorite obsessions and talk about great things and not-so-great things that are happening in their lives. This truly feels like you are in a room with two of your friends. They are also wildly different, so you’re sure to love one or both of them.
The Financial Confessions
The Financial Confessions podcast I first heard about from Becca Freeman on Bad on Paper as one of her obsessions. This podcast, hosted by Chelsea Fagen of The Financial Diet, isn’t as ‘fun’ as some of the other podcasts here are, but it does feel like talking to a really close friend because she is open and honest about conversations regarding money. She is open about it herself, and she doesn’t hesitate to ask the pointed questions of her friends. In our current society where it can still feel a little weird to be so open when talking about money, this podcast might be better than talking to a friend.
The Deep Dive
I love love love June Diane Raphael! Both she and co-host Jessica St. Clair are frequent guests (and close friends) on Bitch Sesh so when I heard they were launching their own podcast I knew I had to listen. This might not be rollover funny (sometimes it is) but it always makes me feel things. They go deep in The Deep Dive, and it feels like a place where you can have those hard, deep, meaningful conversations with your friends. I was in literal tears when Jessica was talking about her dog being sick.
Comments by Celebs
The wildly popular IG handle Comments by Celebs has a podcast where they discuss all things celebrity and pop culture. If you (like me) are the one in your friend group who wins the pop culture category in trivia, this is for you. I especially love the bonus ‘Comments by Bravo’ episodes where they re-hash Real Housewives. It’s not as hilarious as Bitch Sesh because this podcast really is hosted by friends Emma Diamond and Julie Kramer, and that’s exactly what it feels like.
Be There in Five
Kate Kennedy is the ultimate when it comes to wordplay. Kate is going to be your witty friend with a great memory who can sometimes be long-winded, but like you know her and love her and accept her for who she is. I’m kind of kidding and kind of not. Be There in Five is a long-form podcast and when it’s a topic I’m interested in, it’s great! Can’t get enough. But when it’s not…I just skip on by. Like I can’t get behind American Girl Doll nostalgia, but I know they were a big part of some people’s lives. Now Mormon Mommy Blogger deep dive…that I can get behind.
Design Time
This weekly podcast hosted by the editors of Domino magazine is like talking to your most stylish, interior design-obsessed friend. Since I’ve recently purchased my home and have about a gazillion and one design choices to make, I love hearing from the weekly guests.
Lady Gang
Where most podcasts have one or two hosts, Lady Gang is hosted by three very different best friends. Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek, and Becca Tobin are very real and a little raunchy. I sometimes cringe while listening to them but they really are quite entertaining.
Podcass
This is a newer podcast and it’s like watching a friend venture into something new, and you see how they are improving and evolving and you just feel so happy for them. I first started following Denver-based Cassidy Ceresa on IG a few years ago when I was doing WW and she had a lot of content focused around that. I stopped doing the program but I didn’t stop following her and I’ve watched her journey from quitting a job in tech to going out on her own. She’s figuring her way out and inspiring people along the way.
