When are Raspberries in Season?
Although I tend to make this refreshing cocktail during the summer, since raspberries are in season June through October, you can really make this drink through early Fall. Choosing ripe raspberries as a garnish adds to the fresh feeling of the cocktail, like a wine-less sangria.
Recommended Tools to Make a Vodka Raspberry Cocktail
- Jigger | It’s one part each of Chambord, Vodka, and pomegranate juice so you can use anything to measure, but I like to use a standard bar jigger.
- Cocktail Picks | Pile on the raspberries with a cocktail pick, and you won’t have to dig around in your drink to get the fruit.
- Large Drinking Glass | This isn’t a martini, it’s a summer drink, and you want to pour plenty of sparkling water in there. I love these glasses because they are 17oz so can hold ice and the cocktail, but they aren’t super tall.
