Luxe Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
What to buy for the Mom who’s hard to buy for? It’s time to celebrate her, so why not give a little luxury with these luxe Mother’s Day gift ideas.
Every year I ask my mom what she wants for a Mother’s Day gift. Some years I covet her request (sign me up for the new luxe robe), other times I’m not on board (Renaissance Faire, really?). One thing I’ve learned for sure is that if you ask Mom what she wants, you better not go rogue or she is none too happy. If you don’t want to end up disappointing your mom by asking her what she wants, only to dismiss that idea and get her what YOU want instead…use this Mother’s Day gift guide.
I personally own quite a few of the below items, some I bought myself and some I got as gifts. So maybe buy something for Mom…maybe treat yo self! If I haven’t personally tried something below, it’s only because it’s on my list, and would love to receive (looking at you #7).
Koolaburra by Ugg
Slippers
FOR THE MOM WHO IS ALWAYS COLD
Some people are slipper people, some people are not. I go in phases, but there’s nothing like Ugg’s if you do fancy a slipper. They have a ton of different styles and color options and the quality is fantastic.
Anthropologie
Pink Stemware
FOR THE MOM YOU WANT TO TOAST
With just a hint of pink and a gold rim, these wine glasses are so pretty and scream special occasion. The coupe and the red wine are the most versatile in my opinion. If you do get the coupe and are feeling really festive, try this pink champagne cocktail recipe.
Slip
Silk Pillowcase
FOR THE MOM WHO APPRECIATES “BASIC” BEAUTY NEEDS
Years ago I bought an inexpensive “silk” pillowcase when I heard of all of their benefits for skin and hair. It didn’t stick, I just didn’t get it. But when I realized the trend wasn’t going away I decided to take the plunge and shell out for what I knew was the best. I haven’t looked back. And considering the improvement in my hair health, it definitely hasn’t hurt.
Diptyque
Bougie Candle
FOR THE MOM WHO LOVES THE FINER THINGS
Diptyque candles just smell expensive, and they are. But that’s what makes them such a great gift. You can buy just one of these Parisian-made candles or create your own set of 3 or 6. When you buy directly from their storefront they come in bougie packaging and dust bag too, and when the candle is done burning the glass can be cleaned out and used for something else, it’s so pretty on the counter. I currently have cocktail picks in them, but cotton swabs or matchsticks would be cool as well.

Pottery Barn
Faux Fur Blanket
FOR THE MOM WHO LIKES A SNUGGLE
I easily get cold (I feel like a lot of us women do) and love to cuddle with a blanket while watching TV or a movie. This one from Pottery Barn is so luxurious and comes in a color that will go with any decor. After a year there has been some slight shedding but I love it so much it doesn’t prevent me from using it, I just keep a lint roller nearby.
Equilibria
Bath Bombs
FOR THE MOM WHO TAKES A DIP IN THE TUB
No doubt you’ve heard of Equilibria from social media, that’s how I ended up breaking down and signing up for the CBD subscription. While I’m loyal to the mint daily drops and the soft gels (balance box for the win), moms might be a little hesitant to ingest. That’s where bath bombs make the perfect gift. While a bath is a go-to for relaxation, the CBD combined with essential oils will elevate bath time.
If you do go shopping, you can use code REFOBSESSED to get $20 off your first order, so maybe buy something for yourself too!
Le Creuset
Cast Iron
FOR THE MOM WHO LOVES TO COOK
The gold standard in cast iron cookware, you can buy any Le Creuset and make Mom happy. The Signature Dutch Oven is a great universal item and will be my first piece of the brand. Yes, it’s pricy, but it’s the type of thing that lasts for years, if not decades. And with so many colors to choose from, the options are endless.

Hand-Crafted Cupcakes
ALMOST AS SWEET AS MOM (GAG)
These little bite-size cupcakes pack so much flavor. With locations only in New York and New Jersey, it’s lucky they ship to all 50 states. I’ve gifted them and some have been gifted to me, I can vouch when they get delivered they are as fresh as buying them in Manhattan.
If you like the idea of food but your mom doesn’t have a sweet tooth, check out these other food gifts you can order and ship online. Literally, the best cookies I’ve ever had are on that list.
Amazon
Kindle
FOR THE MOM WHO READ TO YOU AT BEDTIME
If your mom loves to read this is a no-brainer gift. She might claim to love “real” books, but give it a try. I also love real books, but you can see why I won’t be going back in this post for why I love the Amazon Kindle.
Apple
Smartwatch
FOR THE MOM WHO’S ALWAYS RUNNING LATE
It might not be the most elegant piece of jewelry, but what it lacks in glamour it makes up for in functionality. Even if she only wears it to workout or run errands, soon she’ll wonder what she ever did without it.
Little Sycamore
Handmade Jewelry
FOR THE MOM WHO LIKES A LITTLE SPARKLE
The stackable birthstone rings made from raw stones & crystals are v cool, and since they are raw each piece is essentially a one-of-a-kind.
