Strawberries and Cream Martini Recipe

Strawberries and Cream is an amazing flavor combination, but sadly not as common to find as I would like. Growing up Strawberries and Cream was always my favorite Quaker Oat flavor, and who can forget about Strawberries and Cream Creme Savors? So it’s only natural for me to create a Strawberries and Cream Martini recipe that is perfect for Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s, Mother’s Day, a baby shower, or just anytime you want a pretty, pink, delicious dessert cocktail. Enjoy!

Strawberry Vanilla Simple Syrup

If you’ve tried my cocktail recipes before you know I love making flavored simple syrup. Strawberries, sugar, water, and vanilla and you have an easy way to infuse a ton of flavor! This recipe will make a little over a cup and can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. It’s perfect for smoothies, mixed with sparkling water, or adding a little to the morning coffee!

Strawberry Juice

No artificial strawberry flavor here! You don’t need a juicer to make strawberry juice as long as you have a high-powered blender and a nut milk bag or cheesecloth. This juice won’t be super watery, it’s almost like a puree. One pound of strawberries will make about six oz of strawberry juice so you’ll have some remaining to store for later (or make a second cocktail)!

You could potentially buy puree in the store and water it down if you don’t want to make it yourself, but I haven’t tried that since this is so easy.

What Tools Do You Need to Make a Strawberries and Cream Cocktail?

  • Glass Bottle | If you don’t use the full 8 oz of simple syrup you’ll want to store it in the fridge.
  • Coupe Glasses | These glasses are great for martinis and Champagne.
  • Cocktail Shaker | I have this one because it’s got a clean design, a built-in strainer, and doesn’t leak
  • Fine-Mesh Strainer | This will be needed to strain the strawberries from the simple syrup. If you don’t already have a sieve, I love this set of three in different sizes.
Strawberry Juice for Strawberries and Cream Martini

Strawberries and Cream Martini Recipe

Servings: 1

Ingredients

STRAWBERRY VANILLA SIMPLE SYRUP:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ lb strawberries
  • ½ tbsp vanilla extract

STRAWBERRY JUICE:

  • 1 lb strawberries

STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM MARTINI:

Directions

  1. Add 8 oz of water, the granulated sugar, and ½ lb strawberries to a saucepan and boil.
  2. Once the sugar has dissolved, mash the strawberries, add the vanilla, and turn off the heat. Let the syrup cool to room temperature which will take about 25 minutes.
  3. While the syrup is cooling, blend 1 lb strawberries on a blender to puree setting.
  4. Strain blended strawberries through a nut milk bag, squeezing out the juice.
  5. Once the syrup is cooled, place a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl (I like to use this measuring cup since it has a spout) and pour the syrup through leaving any strawberry bits in the sieve.
  6. Fill the martini shaker halfway with ice, and add gin, strawberry juice, non-dairy creamer, and strawberry vanilla simple syrup.
  7. Shake vigorously for about 12 seconds or until you get a little foam and pour it into a glass, straining the ice.
  8. Garnish with freeze-dried strawberries
  9. Enjoy!
