An Honest Ritual Multivitamins Review
You may have heard of Ritual Vitamins as they are very popular and aesthetic AF. As someone who has been advised by my doctor to take supplements, I have done a ton of research on Women’s Multivitamins and Ritual is where I landed. After taking them for over three months, I’m here to share my experience and my honest Ritual Multivitamins review
As I said in my Equilibria CBD Review, I am not a doctor, nor am I even in the health field. In no way, shape, or form is this advice. Just my experience.

About Ritual
According to the FDA, dietary supplements, including vitamins “can be beneficial to your health — but…can also involve health risks“
FDA is not authorized to review dietary supplement products for safety and effectiveness before they are marketed.

Taking this into consideration makes it all the more important to trust the multivitamin company and know what is in that vitamin. Ritual, a Woman-founded company, provides transparency in what is in their multivitamins with what they call “Made Traceable”. Through Made Traceable Ritual discloses exactly which ingredients are in the supplement and where, down to the city, the ingredient is sourced from.
The actual capsules are clear and you can see inside them. Not only does this look very cool, I like to think it’s a physical form of their total transparency.
Ritual Women’s Multivitamin 18+
Ritual offers a variety of multivitamins depending on your specific needs, depending on your age and what gender you identify with. Since I’m under 50 and not pregnant, I take the Women’s Multivitamin 18+. The multivitamin is vegan, gluten-free, and has no artificial colors.
I get more into the details below, but I have found them easy to take, they taste minty, and do not upset my stomach. To be totally honest, during the first month or so I would belch almost once a day, maybe an hour after taking, and it would be medicinal. I was pretty disappointed, but for the sake of Very Obsessed research and my commitment to try for at last three months, I’m very happy to say that never happens anymore and is completely gone.
Other Ritual Products
Ritual started off with multivitamins, but have since expanded. I haven’t tried anything else, but based on my experience with the brand I would definitely be open to trying other things.
Aside from the multivitamins they also offer plant-based protein powder and a newly launched Synbiotic+, which is a prebiotic and probiotic rolled into one.
Pros & Cons of Ritual
Pros
- They look cute! This seems like a dumb benefit for a multivitamin, because who cares what it looks like, right? Wrong! As someone who has never been consistent with supplements, and where consistency is key, I can tell you out of sight, out of mind. Since they look cute out on a shelf, I don’t hide them away and they are part of my morning routine, along with my CBD oil.
- The subscription service makes taking the multivitamin easy, which helps with consistency. You just set it and forget it, but if for some reason you need to cancel a month or move out a shipment it’s super easy to do online.
- They are easy to take! I do not have an easy time swallowing pills but I have no issue taking two capsules every morning.
- The subtle minty flavor does not leave a bad taste after taking.
Cons
- Sustainability…as someone who is trying to do the best she can for the planet, I don’t love a plastic bottle going into “recycling” every 30 days. That is in quotes because can you ever really be sure what is happening with your recycling? Also
- While I don’t consider a $30 price tag a lot for wellness, it is significantly more than what you would pay for a Women’s Multivitamin at, let’s say, Target. For me though I’m willing to pay for the transparency and convenience Ritual offers.
What to Consider Before Taking Ritual Multivitamins
Aside from the Pros and Cons I have listed above, there is some debate if people really need to take a multivitamin. The argument behind this is that people should be getting the nutrients they need from food and not a supplement. Personally, all I can say is that I was deficient in some vitamins and my doctor recommended that I take a supplement to get my bloodwork to optimal levels. Instead of researching, finding, and taking two separate supplements, I decided to find a multivitamin that included the vitamins I need and the dosage my doctor recommended.
Would I Recommend Ritual Women’s Multivitamin?
Yes! I would recommend a friend do their own research, but if they are interested they should absolutely try Ritual Vitamins.
I was hoping after three months I would be able to share all these amazing benefits I was feeling, or that I’ve noticed significant less hair loss, but the truth is I think I feel the same. It’s hard to pinpoint though because there are so many variables, what I’m eating, what I’m drinking, how much stress I’m encountering, how I’m sleeping.
What I do know is that my doctor recommended I take supplements and I found one with a company I trust, I don’t mind taking them, and have been able to take consistently. That’s a win in my book!
