Maid gives a look inside the complexities of domestic violence and how hard it can be to break the cycle.
Andie McDowell gives a great performance as her daughter’s (in real life and the limited series) mother. But, her daughter, Margaret Qualley is the real star giving a painstakingly realistic view of why it takes, on average, seven times to successfully leave a domestic violence situation.
It’s a heavy, heavy topic but really eye-opening.
