Alissa Nutting (whom I loved in Palm Springs) plays the wife of a billionaire tech mogul, who’s living a weird weird life. In this weird weird show.
If The Truman Show was remade into a 21st century tech/sci-fi series, this would be it.
Made for Love is a weekly series but 3 episodes came out at launch…I won’t be watching the 4th.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

I never think I’m going to like Marvel movies, I’m not much into superheroes, until I watch them and I’m thoroughly entertained. The same has proven to be true with the Marvel series.
Allegedly, I believe this to be true but I have a terrible memory, we were introduced to both The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in the Captain America movies. Or maybe it was an Avengers movie. Regardless, they are associates of Captain American and this is essentially a spin-off series. They’ve joined forces to defeat evil, as most superheroes do.
I have been so impressed by the quality of Disney series, each hour long episode is almost like a Marvel movie. I would like to say that you don’t have to be familiar with the movies or the characters before watching, but the most recent episode did have me a little confused. If you have the time, maybe binge the Captain America movies before starting the series.
I also really appreciate the fact that Disney is taking this series as a chance to address social issues, it’s not all Cinderella and Mickey-shaped waffles anymore.

Bad Trip

I watched Bad Trip spur of the moment and wasn’t sure what to expect. In hindsight, would have been GREAT with a gummy!
Bad Trip is like Borat, only not shedding a light on humanity, more so just pulling pranks on people. But I have to say some parts are laugh out loud funny. Three people are in Bad Trip who are in on the joke, Tiffany Haddish, Eric Andre, and someone I didn’t know but whom is very good, Lil Red Howery.
And make sure you stay post credits where they show letting people know they just witnessed a prank. Too good!
